Trustope is a UPI payment gateway service that enables merchants to accept payments from customers. We act as a technology facilitator â the actual money transfer happens directly between the payer and the merchant's bank account via UPI.
đ Refund Eligibility
Since Trustope charges 0% transaction fees, refund scenarios are limited. However, the following situations may qualify:
- Technical Error: If a payment was deducted from the customer but not received by the merchant due to a technical fault on our end
- Duplicate Charge: If a customer was charged more than once for the same transaction
- Failed Transaction: If money was deducted but the transaction status remained "failed" or "pending" for more than 24 hours
âąī¸ Refund Timeline
Once a refund request is approved and verified:
- UPI refunds are typically processed within 5-7 working days
- The refund will be credited back to the original payment source
- You will receive a confirmation notification once the refund is processed
đĢ Non-Refundable Cases
â ī¸ The following cases are NOT eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Successful transactions where the merchant has already received the funds
- Refund requests raised after 30 days of the transaction date
- Transactions disputed due to merchant-customer disagreements (these must be resolved between the parties)
- Accounts suspended due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
đ How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Contact us via WhatsApp with your transaction ID and details
- Provide proof of payment (screenshot of deduction)
- Our team will verify and respond within 24-48 hours
- If approved, refund will be processed within 5-7 working days
